Show Notified Rows

Purpose:

Notify shows the rows that as a result of the selected rows have ALL of their predecessors satisfied.

Menu/Key:

Compute/Show Notified Rows (^W)

Results:

Notice that rows with no predecessors are also selected. Notify is particularly useful if the rows in the problem represent tasks that need to be done and your row selections. You can repeat the analysis over and over again. Rows in the “resulting color” (Green) are made ordinary selected rows (Blue) when the analysis is repeated. You may prevent a row from being considered by control+clicking on the row again and turning into the “excluded color” (Purple) as in the diagram below:
